What’s on in the Cotswolds at Christmas

The Cotswolds at Christmas is just stunning with Christmas trees, Cotswold markets and visits from Father Christmas.

Shipton-under-Wychwood itself displays an enormous Christmas tree in the centre of the village on the village green, which can be seen from the road as you drive through.

The picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water, 15 minutes from The Wychwood Inn, features their massive tree in the middle of the river, which reflects in the shallow waters along with the hundreds of Christmas lights from the age old buildings.

There is the famous Christmas Shop in Lechlade too, 20 minutes south of The Wychwood Inn.

We will endeavour to add Christmas events for the surrounding areas, so you can spend an enjoyable Christmas break in The Cotswold village of Shipton-under-Wychwood.
