The Wychwood Inn offers outdoor dining and drinks on any of the tables within our Cotswold garden, Oxfordshire.
Our heated gazebo is where you can enjoy an undercover outdoor eating experience, even on chilly days. You will find solid wood dining tables and comfortable seats.
For a more relaxed dining experience, choose from the wooden tables, sofas, or bistro-style barrel tables with high bistro chairs on the patio; an all-day sun trap.
Eat outdoors in our Cotswold garden
You can choose where you’d like to sit and which menu to order from; the main menu, the children’s menu, and the Garden Kitchen menu are available daily.

On Sundays, we’ve got a roast available all day, and during the summer, a Sunday afternoon summer menu from 5 pm.
Or visit us on one of our special nights; Monday for burgers and Thursdays for pie.

As we know, the English weather can change quickly, affecting our capacity in the garden. We advise that you call ahead and book; we wouldn’t like to disappoint.
The Garden Kitchen at The Wychwood Inn
We’ve created a Garden Kitchen conveniently positioned next to the outside bar. The Garden Kitchen serves wood-fired pizza and jacket potatoes from the outdoor oven from Thursday to Sunday.
Pizzas and potatoes can come as children’s portions and can be combined with choices from our main menu, so your whole group will have plenty of options.
Plus, pizzas are available for takeaway. Drop by for a quick drink to pick one up.
The Garden Kitchen is open subject to staff availability and weather conditions; we advise you to phone ahead and check if you are coming specifically for pizza.

An outdoor bar in Oxfordshire
At the centre of The Wychwood Inn’s garden is an outdoor bar, so there’s no need to go to the interior bars for the next round - here, we served all drinks apart from real ales. We have a gravelled area with high outdoor chairs seated at barrel-look tables.
Or choose to drink further down the lawn at the end of the garden, where you will find traditional pub tables with sun umbrellas.
Or soothe the stresses of the day, relaxing into one of the egg-shaped chairs hanging under the old apple tree.
Table candles and garden fairy lights provide a beautiful ambience well into the evening.
And if you get chilly, we offer warm blankets so you can continue your meal or drinks in comfort.
Check-in
Please check-in where a member of our team will greet you. They will show you to your table.
Each table will be provided with table service whether you are dining or simply here for drinks. Please avoid coming to the bar.
No reservation, no problem
If you don’t have a reservation, we still welcome you, and we offer tables subject to availability.
During busier times, guests may have to wait to order food, but we’ll do our best to offer you a table and a pre-meal drink.
If we expect a delay, we do our best to let you know before we seat you.

We are proud to be a dog friendly country inn - whether staying, drinking or eating with us.
We welcome you and your dog for dining in the bar area following a day of exploring the Cotswolds.
Sit back and relax with a drink in your hand and your companion snuggled comfortably at your feet.
When you book, please advise us that your dog will join you. There is a charge of £15.00 per dog per night for room reservations.
A few house rules
Please keep dogs under control at all times.
Whilst with us, please ask your dogs to keep their conversation to a minimum to avoid disturbing other guests.
Guests - please let us know if you wish to bring your dog to breakfast. We then set the table for all of you.
