Set in the heart of some of the most beautiful villages in cotswolds - The Wychwood Inn makes for the perfect romantic getaway in the heart of England.
There are so many things to do in the Cotswolds and at the centre of it all is the village of Shipton-under-Wychwood, where we are based.
Our traditional inn, restaurant and bar is housed in an old coach house - a beautiful Cotswold building set it a classic English village.
You’ll love our Cotswold rooms - make your choice from five beautifully decorated and carefully put together bedrooms, all ensuite.
We can recommend ‘room 5’ with a queen-size four poster bed, vintage furniture and a freestanding roll top bath to make your stay especially romantic.
If you prefer more space try ‘room 2’ - where aubergine coloured patterns adorn the curtains and super king bed, and the ensuite contains both a large walk in shower and a modern bath.

Romantic weekend breaks
The Wychwood Inn is perfect for a romantic weekend break - providing everything you need.
We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed when staying with us at The Wychwood Inn so we provide toiletries, tea and coffee, fresh milk, complimentary water and all the little comforts you can expect. Homemade flapjacks are on offer to enjoy with your hot drink.
Each room has good WiFi and contains a flat screen TV. A Sealy mattress offers a very comfortable night's sleep. Extra pillows and blankets are available.
If there is anything more you require, just ask. We are available until 10pm at reception.

Room 1
With a super king bed, this room is a fantastic size and makes a perfect family room. Capacity for a camp bed and it can also be converted to a twin.
Room 2
This room overlooks our extensive pub garden to the village beyond. A super king bed with speckled hen throw makes for an opulent stay.
Room 3
This room is beautifully decorated room using a duck-egg colour palate. This is a good sized room even with it’s cosy king size.
Room 4
Our smallest and, some say, cosiest room. Although, we would recommend one of our larger rooms if you are staying more than one night.
